Malcolm Tinn LRPS, LBIPP Takes the Reins
At the EAF AGM held on Sunday 7th March 2010 at the Latton Bush Centre, Harlow, Malcom Tinn took over the role of EAF President from Mrs Naomi Saul. Malcolm said that he felt privileged to be the EAF President in it's centenary year. The new President-Elect was announced as Mrs Sue Dobson APAGB. |

Annual General Meeting
The EAF AGM took place on Sunday 7th March 2010 at the Latton Bush Centre, Harlow. The agenda had been previously circulated to all clubs. The highlights of the event included the customary reports and the installation of Malcolm Tinn as President (see article above). For the first time, there was a report from the Webmaster - David Steel has now taken over this role from Tony Sweet and as he is also a member of the Executive Committee, it was appropriate that he should take the floor and describe some of the new changes brought about by the new Web site.

Your Federation's 100th Birthday
There is very little time left to get your club memories included in the EAF Souvenir Celebration.
Over the past five editions of the Bulletin we have been calling for member clubs to provide information covering the last 100 years of photography in the East Anglian Region.

Copyright Legislation
The Royal Photographic Society has expressed grave concern over the implications of proposals to amend copyright legislation presently being dabated in the House of Lords. See their news article on the RPS web site at http://www.rps.org/news/story/148
The RPS has recently released a statement that gives some further clarification about this bill though they still express their concern about the lack of detail in the present proposals. |
EAF Championships 2010
EAF Projected Digital Image Championships (PDI) and EAF Print Championships - 14th February 2010
These Championships took place at Latton Bush Centre, Harlow. The Projected Digital Image Championship had 35 member clubs taking part and the Print Championship had 25 clubs. A large crowd of club supporters saw 1100 images over the day. The three judges, Leo Rich, Peter Gennard and Mike Chambers did a good job for us of finding our top clubs in the region.
