The East Anglian FederationThe East Anglian Federation (EAF) of Photographic Societies was founded in 1910 and is now in its centenary year. The EAF is a constituent founder Member of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB), which is the parent organisation for camera clubs and photographic societies throughout the UK. Having 120 member clubs and societies with in excess of 4000 individual members, the EAF is now the largest federation in the PAGB covering the area of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and that part of Hertfordshire which lies to the east of the M1 motorway.The EAF's objectives are:
Photography is of course a hobby and although serious, must be fun too. We are known as a warm, friendly and welcoming Federation, where anyone interested in photography whether as raw beginners or amateurs of international renown can learn from fellow photographers and develop their photographic skills, A list of current Member Clubs and Societies is available on this site, together with details of who to contact if you would like to visit or join any of them. Alternatively, if there is not a club near you and you along with a few like minded photographers would like to form a club, but would like some help, then please feel free to contact the Hon. General Secretary and/or other Members of the Federation’s Committee. The EAF's affairs are run by the Executive Committee drawn from all parts of the Federation area (full details within this site), who voluntarily and freely give much time and effort to ensure that a is available to its member mlubs and their individual members, including:
